PrinceTHON is starting a year-long effort of innovative projects to unite the community and fundraise for big impact causes, culminating in Princeton's second ever dance marathon on
May 5th 2015.
Dance marathons have unified universities across the nation in raising millions of dollars for beneficiaries in cancer and pediatrics. After raising over $8000 last year for the Sheikh Zayed Institute (SZI) for Pediatric Surgical Innovation of the Children's National Health System in Washington, DC, we're thrilled to continue contributing to the cause.
THE PEDIATRIC INNOVATION FUND
PrinceTHON believes that every child deserves to live a long, happy life.
By supporting SZI, we are helping invest in novel, practical improves in the health field to create less painful procedures and shorter hospital stays.
Smarter engineered surgical tools and improved diagnostic equipment, designed specifically for children, are tackling huge problems such as making treatments for chest and spinal deformities such as scoliosis and pectus excavatum
( inverted chest) much less invasive. Research in such fields have been historically unfunded, and clearly need our support!
THE EDUCATION INITIATIVE
PrinceTHON is also creating and funding more opportunities for Princeton students to directly help with pediatric research at SZI and help tackle some of the toughest problems in the health field today through internships and fellowships
after graduation. Please contact us to find out more!
